Monoverse's Jung In-hwa said Thursday in Seoul at the Block Festa that the new paradigm of NFT games is minting after play (MAP).

She also said Monoverse plans to release a play-to-earn game (P2E) 'Frutti Dino.'

As for the monthly active users (MAU) of Web2 games, League of Legends ranks first with 180 million, and Minecraft ranks second with 130 million. In contrast, according to her, the current monthly active users of Web3 games are 656,000 for Exy Infinity and 552,000 for Alien World.

She said Web3 game issues include high entry barriers, game quality, fun, continuity, and scalability. Fruity Dino, which Monoverse will launch, has prepared games without NFT and NFT P&E games to overcome high entry barriers.

Jung emphasized that MAP is a new paradigm for NFT games.

First, it allows the general public to enjoy mobile games rather than NFTs.

Second, while playing non-NFT games, they naturally increase their affection for the character.

Third, introduce blockchain services such as NFT into the game.

Lastly, general users who used to enjoy non-NFT games can naturally enjoy NFT games.

She added this process induces minting after play and can be called MAP.  Monoverse plans to release the P2E NFT game Fruity Dino in 2023.

She said his company focuses on creating fun games through high-quality animations and characters unavailable in existing P2E.
