# Digital innovation for coexistence

Digital transformation is not exclusive to certain people, specific companies or forces. We witnessed what happened last year when we acted unilaterally in the digital asset market without thinking about the community. The Terra-Luna collapse, the FTX debacle, showed the danger of destruction. Digital innovation for coexistence is a topic that we all need to solve in 2023.

The Block Media has prepared five plans this year under Digital Innovation for Coexistence. Innovation, transparency, digital, and global communication.

The Block Media will continue to renew itself as a media that supports and cheers readers in 2023.

# 1. Creating a transparent marketplace

Non-trans operations triggered Terra-Luna, FTX, and Korea's large and small cryptocurrency incidents.

The Block Media reported coin price manipulation and investor fraud by organized forces through an investigative report on the X-Files last year.

The Block Media intends to present alternatives to develop the cryptocurrency market this year through an article titled Creating a Transparent Market. We will not stop at simple accusations, but we will find a solution together with our readers.

# 2. Digital transformation and globalization

Digital technology is a must, not an option. The Block Media will strengthen its global coverage network by visiting the sites of digital transformation (transformation) around the world.

First, Park Young-sun, former Minister of SMEs and Startups, published a series of contributions to Harvard Communications. Former Minister Park will participate in the Kennedy School Program at Harvard University from January to research digital transformation. Former Minister Park will deliver to the Block Media readers the experience of the Great Digital Transformation that is taking place in the United States.

Second, Block Media reporters will cover various events in blockchain technology hub cities such as the United States, Europe, and Singapore. We accompany domestic business officials, innovators, and entrepreneurs for a site coverage of the latest digital technology news.

Third, we will interview foreign figures prominent in cryptocurrency regulation, technology development, business, and investment. In particular, we will publish a series of interview articles about the direction of law that pro-cryptocurrency politicians in the United States think.

# 3. Innovative company discovery project

The Block Media believes that startups and venture companies are the drivers of digital innovation. We will continue to discover and introduce promising startups that will lead the Web3 era.

We will run the Innovative Company Discovery Project quarterly to connect startups and venture capital (VC). Some startups selected through the Block Festa Web3 Pitching Contest in December last year are conducting investment consultations with domestic and foreign VCs.

The Block Media will continue to carry out campaigns to support innovative companies.

# 4. Bridge connecting the global market

The Block Media believes that innovative companies in Korea should enter the global market with a larger market and more customers when the market situation is complicated.

The BlockMedia launched an English-only news site on Jan. 1, with the determination of a second publication for companies to advance into the global market.

We will feature digital innovation cases of domestic companies for international readers, companies, and VCs. We also cover articles introducing foreign companies that want to enter the domestic market in Korea.

The Block Media English site will become a hub that connects domestic and foreign readers with the global market.

# 5. Block Festa, place of communication for innovation

Since its foundation in Dec. 2018, The Block Media has opened a forum for communication with digital innovation companies to discuss technology trends.

Except for the corona pandemic period, we held a Block Festa event every year. Last year, with the theme of Spring in the Web 3 Era, we invited innovative entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers from home and abroad. 

This year, we will host Block Festa as a place of communication for innovation. Block Festa will become a mirror that reflects the future. The leaders of the future are the readers who support innovation.
